Pampers Swaddlers: My Honest Review

I announced my pregnancy to my family on Christmas Eve in 2019.

Individually wrapped in each of my sisters’ presents were two Pampers Swaddlers Newborn diapers and a miniature pack of Pampers wipes.
Their Christmas card read “Congratulations, you’ll be changing diapers in your near future!” I may not have known it then, but I had already subconsciously made a decision on what diaper brand I would use and trust through my first few years of motherhood.

I remember the excitement and sheer nervousness I was engulfed with when it was time to pack my hospital bag. The only three things I packed instinctively, with little to no research, were diapers (for both baby and me – ha!), a few packs of wipes and some snacks to munch on.

Spoiler: the only thing I could actually munch on/keep down for over 16 hours was crushed ice!

Pampers Swaddlers

We’ve been using Pampers Swaddlers since the day Willow was born. From the moment I put on that first diaper, I understood immediately why Pampers is referred to as Canada’s Most Trusted Diaper Brand.

Through every stage of Willow’s growth, we’ve been at ease knowing that Pampers Swaddlers provides her with the softest comfort for her delicate skin. Swaddlers have the best leakage protection and absorbency and I love the LockAway Channels technology, since it’s able to lock wetness away from the skin.
No matter how wet Willow’s diapers have gotten, I’m always so impressed by how dry her skin remains. On any other occasion, I would advocate for your baby’s skin to have ultimate moisture. But (pun intended haha) in this case, keeping your baby’s bum dry is healthier and proven to help prevent diaper rashes.

Pro Tip: Make life a little easier and learn to utilize the Pampers Wetness Indicator™  to your advantage.

But my favourite part? Well if you’re a newbie to diapers like I was, the Pampers Wetness Indicator™  is sure to be your best friend. The Wetness Indicator™line that stretches from the front to the back of each diaper and changes colour when your baby’s diaper is wet/soiled. This is a foolproof way to know when it’s time for a change!

Diapers are expensive and they will be a frequent purchase over the first few years of your baby’s life. In my opinion, when it comes to comfort and leak protection at an affordable price point, you really can’t beat Pampers.

  • Pampers is Canada’s Most Trusted Diaper Brand
  • Ultra-soft & absorbent
  • Colour-changing wetness indicator technology
  • LockAway Channels to lock wetness away from skin
  • Flexible protection for babies of all stages

So my honest review on Pampers Swaddlers?

If you couldn’t already tell, we genuinely love them! Swaddlers run up to size 7 (Willow is currently a size 4), so we will continue using them until we are ready to transition over to potty training.
